When you’ve just got back from a ride, and you’re sitting on the lounge deck with your favourite drink in your hand, watching the herd gallop out to the field for the night and laughing with someone you’ve known ten minutes like you’ve known them ten years... lean back, put a foot up on the railing and look around... you’re close, close to knowing why they say:

Sundance is almost as famous for the food as it is for the horses! At breakfast, help yourself to the buffet or order the daily special from the grill. (specials range from strawberry-topped french toast to corned beef hash to eggs benedict) . After that, set menus will be anything from classic charcoal-grilled steaks and burgers to sophisticated international cuisine. Comfort food - kicked up a notch - is what they aim for! Vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements will also be well looked after by the talented chef!
 
At Sundance, all the outdoor fun builds up quite a healthy appetite.
 
"Come an’ Get It!"
 
The licensed dining room overlooks the pastures where the horses spend the night grazing. Choose some wine from the list and have a glass to sip on as you watch the evening "jingle."  That’s when the horses run out for the night into our sprawling pastures.  There’s not too many places left in the world where you can watch 100 horses galloping free together - it’s a sight that never gets old!
 
The large heated pool is a great place to cool off after a ride or soak up some sun.
 
The kids will love the diving board, while adults can relax in one of the many comfortable lounge chairs.
 
Our sunny outdoor decks are a great place to sit back and enjoy a book, or get together with new and old friends to socialize! Grab a drink, put your feet up, and enjoy the view.
 
The ranch offer lots of entertainment for kids and adults alike!
 
Lounge Billiard Tables
The facilities include a free-play games room, authentic outdoor horseshoe set, walking and hiking trails, a billiards room and a movie lounge...
 
And of course the BYOB Adult Lounge and Bar area.
 
A family vacation at Sundance is a throwback to the old glory days of family holiday destinations - a place where the kids can have some freedom to run around and just be kids again, and where the adults can enjoy a social scene of their own in addition to family-oriented activities.
 
Sundance offers a safe environment that is restricted to registered guests only.  Bring the grandparents - even they will feel able to relax and take their eyes off the kids for a while!  (we offer non-riding rates)
 
Kids do have to be at least 8 years of age in order to go on trail rides. Under-8’s can enjoy a pony ride in the arena. Supervised children’s program during July and August offers games, crafts and activities for ages 3-7 years while older family members are out riding. This program is included in the regular rates!
 
They have a steak barbeque and a country-rock dance every Saturday night all season long, with the addition of Wednesday nights during July and August. Kids are invited into the adult lounge on dance nights until 10:00pm, allowing them to hit the dance floor with Mum and Dad and with their new friends - a special treat for the kids and guaranteed to make lifelong memories! (and teach the adults some new moves!)
