With its century-old fireplaces and an oak bar salvaged from an 1890’s Yukon saloon, there is no shortage of history within these walls. On the shores of the famous pristine lake in Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake Lodge has been given the location’s award-winning dining opportunities and rustic accommodations.

Built of hand-hewn timber and featuring massive stone fireplaces, Emerald Lake Lodge includes an elegant dining room, quiet reading and sitting rooms, conference facilities and a games room. From upper and lower verandas, the vistas of surrounding mountainscapes are breathtaking here.
Few destinations in Canada offer the unique mix of exceptional dining, tranquility and nature that Emerald Lake Lodge offers.
Dotting the property’s 13-acre peninsula are 24 rustic cabin-style buildings (accommodating up to 200 guests); each is designed to reflect the traditional architecture of the lodge.
All of the guest rooms provide an electronics-lite experience. You can focus on reconnecting with nature and your loved ones, free from the distractions of WiFi, your cellular phone and television.
*Please note that there are no air conditioners within the rooms. Also, please note there is no cell phone reception at Emerald Lake Lodge and is limited in Yoho National Park. There is WIFI available in the main lodge.
The dining room, lounge and bar offer you CRMR’s famed Rocky Mountain Cuisine – the roots of which go back to the hearty meals prepared by European mountain guides and the lavish Victorian cooking from early CPR rail cars.
Whether your days at Emerald Lake Lodge are spent adventuring in the mountains or curled up beside a roaring fire, the dishes served in the dining room are designed to nourish and comfort you during what promises to be a memorable stay.
* Please note that you will need to park your car at Emerald Lake Lodge's parking lot which is short shuttle ride from the lodge. At the car park there is a cabin with a telephone where you call the lodge to come and pick you up to bring you to the main lodge. This helps the lodge create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere around the lodge.
