There is plenty to explore across Thunder Bay, enjoy a stroll along the waterfront overlooking Lake Superior and visit the surrounding provincial parks of Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and the high waterfalls in Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park. Kakabeka Falls is the second highest waterfall in Ontario after Niagara Falls, it is a must visit and the perfect spot for viewing wildlife including moose and bald eagles. Learn about the local history and visit Fort William Historical Park one of North America’s oldest living attractions, learn about the fur trade through enactments.
