Gillian Travel Biography

From a very young age, I developed a deep love for travel, always fascinated by the idea of exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people from all walks of life. I was fortunate enough to travel extensively as a child, which only fuelled my passion for discovering the world. These early experiences left a lasting impression on me and sparked a lifelong interest in global adventure and cultural discovery.

When the opportunity arose to begin a career in travel over 25 years ago, I didn’t hesitate I grasped it with both hands and haven’t looked back since. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of not only travelling extensively but also of living abroad, which gave me invaluable insights into different ways of life. I spent many years living in Australia, a country that truly stole my heart and where I developed a deep affection for its vibrant lifestyle, diverse landscapes, and laid-back culture. My time there allowed me to explore the country in depth and gave me a real appreciation for life "down under."

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to visit a wide variety of incredible destinations across the globe. Some of the places that have left the most lasting impressions on me include Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Bali, and Thailand. Each of these destinations offers something truly unique whether it’s the breathtaking natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, or warm and welcoming people and I love sharing my personal experiences and travel knowledge with others to help them plan their own unforgettable journeys.

Travel has shaped who I am today, and I feel incredibly lucky to have turned my passion into a career that allows me to help others discover the joys of exploring the world.
