Day 1 - Modriki Island
Set sail on M.V. Fiji Princess from Port Denarau for the outer Mamanuca Islands with the first overnight anchorage being the picturesque Modriki Island, the location for the Tom Hanks movie Cast Away. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and canapés as you watch the sunset followed by the a la carte Captain’s Welcome Dinner and be entertained by the talented singing and guitar playing crew.
Day 2 - Soso Bay
Swim with reef sharks at Moyia Reef this morning en route to our next destination and after lunch, we take a visit to the chiefly village of Soso. Tonight, feast on a traditional Thali (Indian) dinner of exquisite Indian dishes, followed by an extravaganza of Bollywood dancing.
Day 3 - Naukacuvu Island
After breakfast attend a village church service. This afternoon enjoy some beach time snorkelling, swimming, and sunbathing before heading up to the Sky Deck for Sunset Hour drinks in thee vening. Tonight’s dinner is a South Pacific themed buffet. This evenings entertainment is Fijian-style bingo.
Day 4 - Yalobi Bay
Admire the stunning Sacred Islands and backdrop of the neighbouring Waya Lailai’s breath taking volcanic formations. Spend the remainder of the day swimming, snorkelling and relaxing on the beach and watch as the Chef demonstrates how to make the Roti in Lolo dish. Watch the sunset and enjoy tonight’s Captain’s Welcome Dinner welcoming the 4-night guests on board.
Day 5 - Blue Lagoon
Our destination today is the famed Blue Lagoon and our own private island where we tie M.V. Fiji Princess off to a coconut tree! Jump off the back of the vessel into the turquoise waters to swim ashore or take a tender boat to shore where our full bar awaits you. Today’s activities include snorkelling, fish feeding, non-motorised water sports, water aerobics and volleyball. Dine on the beach all day today, including morning and afternoon tea, a buffet lunch, and a traditional Lovo meal cooked underground for dinner under the stars, followed by a traditional Meke performance by the local villagers.
Day 6 - Sawa-I-Lau
Enjoy panoramic views of the Blue Lagoon if you join our easy 40-minute guided walk to the other side of the island. Lunch is served on board as M.V. Fiji Princess cruises north for a private guided visit to the amazing Sawa-I- Lau Caves. Afterwards the village of Tamasua welcomes us for a Yaqona (Kava) ceremony, a guided walk around the village, a shell market for souvenirs, and a village-style dinner. Back on board, watch a movie under the stars up on the Sky Deck (weather permitting).
Day 7 - Drawaqa Island
Visit the local island school (during school terms) before cruising to Drawaqa Island where a marine biologist joins us on board for a presentation on the local marine life and the volunteer conservation work carried out in the area. You’ll have the opportunity to snorkel with the magnificent manta ray (May-October) or go on a guided reef snorkel. Dinner this evening is a BBQ on the sky deck( weather permitting) served under thes tars. After our last dinner together then we party Fiji-style!
Day 8 - Cruise back to Port Denarau
Enjoy breakfast as M.V. Fiji Princess cruises back to Port Denarau. Back at port you’ll be serenaded with the traditional farewell song Isa Lei by the crew.
