Rocky Mountaineer Red Rocks and Alaska Cruise

Day 1 - Denver

Arrive in the mile high city, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 - Rocky Mountaineer Denver to Glenwood Springs

Depart Denver and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. The train will slowly gain elevation before reaching the Continental Divide, cutting through 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) of mountainous terrain via the Moffat Tunnel. You’ll continue along the Colorado River through more rugged landscapes and canyons, including the picturesque Byers and Gore canyons. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, as you may get a glimpse of some native to these canyons. You will then pull into Glenwood Springs and relax overnight at a cozy hotel.

Day 3 - Rocky Mountaineer Glenwood Springs to Moab

Depart Glenwood Springs and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. Cross the Colorado-Utah border with stunning mountain views in the background. Red sandstone landscapes emerge as you approach Moab, the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. 

Day 4 - Salt Lake City

Check out of your Moab hotel and take a coach transfer to Salt Lake City. 

Day 5 - Salt Lake City to Seattle

Take the domestic flight from Salt Lake City to Seattle, check into your hotel and explore the city at leisure

Day 6 - Seattle / Mt Rainier

Spend today at lesiure exploring Seattle. 

Day 7 - Board Celebrity Cruise

Today board your spectacular 7-night Alaska cruise with Celebrity Cruises. 

Day 8 - At Sea

Enjoy time relaxing onboard your Celebrity Cruise, while you sail to your next destination. 

Day 9 - Ketchikan

You've never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. If you're up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you can't resist.

Day 10 - Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier (Cruising)

Cruise along the Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier before arriving at Juneau - Here's your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure via helicopter in Alaska's capital. A city that gracefully balances frontier ruggedness with cosmopolitan flair. Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1.5 miles in width and over 6 miles in length, is part of Juneau's Icefield, 1500 square miles of ice that feeds 38 glaciers and ready for you to take a float trip on it.

Day 11 - Skagway & Inside Passage

Uncovering authentic local finds and having experiences that make you feel like you’ve really connected with a place are important elements in ensuring an extraordinary vacation. 

Located between Vancouver and Ketchikan, Alaska's Inside Passage is host to some of the most breathtaking scenery on the face of the earth, 3000 foot mountain peaks meet the oceans within a mile of the shore. Marvel at the spring wildflowers and the migration of the Humpback and Killer whales. Visit in the autumn when the passage is ablaze with autumn foliage, it's perfect place to view gatherings of Bald Eagles.

Day 12 - At Sea

A full day to relax onboard before arriving at your next destination.

Day 13 - Victoria

The capital of British Columbia is also its largest island. This one-time British colony has retained much of its colonial splendour. Victoria is a seaside enclave that enjoys a temperate climate. Which is great, because you'll want to explore all the museums, parks and golf courses Victoria has to offer.

Day 14 - Seattle

Return to Washington State and the city of Seattle, spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 15 - Return to the UK

Spend your last day catching up on any last minute sights or shopping before returning back to the UK.
