Famous for its atmosphere, Whistler Ski Resort après ski certainly keeps up the pace off the slopes and is very lively. With over 8000 acres of terrain and plenty to keep the non-skiers in your entertained and happy, this alpine resort has something for everyone. There is an underground climbing centre, luxurious spas, ecotours and breath-taking excursions such as snowmobiling trips and dog sledding in the Coastal Mountains. For something different, why not try some ice fishing or zip lining?
We have combined this epic ski holiday with a once in a lifetime Northern Lights adventure. You will spend 3 nights at the Northern Lights Resort & Spa, set against the backdrop of the McClintock Mountains and surrounded by pine forests, the property comprises cozy log cabins and glass chalets connected by wooden pathways to a main lodge. Far away from light pollution, Northern Lights has an impressive view of the aurora borealis during the autumn and winter, as well as of the valley itself.
Spend a few days experiencing Yukon's natural beauty and historical landscapes, the elusive Aurora Borealis and the gracious hospitality at the Northern Lights Resort & Spa. Enjoy nature's spectacular night show from the large viewing deck or the privacy of your chalet. This 3-night package includes European style breakfasts and family-style three-course dinners, use of the outdoor jacuzzi, guided Aurora Viewing in the heated Tipi or at the fireplace and a guided 3.5-hour tour to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve.
Following your Northern Lights experience end your trip with a 2-night stay in vibrant Vancouver, we have included a two day sightseeing pass to help you take in sights such as Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown and Granville Island.

Day 8 - Transfer to Vancouver Airport and fly to Whitehorse
Upon arrival at Whitehorse Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel.
Tonight you will have your first Aurora Viewing session from the large viewing deck, alternatively view from the privacy of your own cabin.

Day 9 - Yukon Wildlife Preserve & Northern Lights
This morning you have breakfast included. Remainder of the morning at your leisure to explore the Resort. This afternoon enjoy a 3.5 hour tour to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. This tour is a great way to spend an afternoon in the country with 15 different northern species in over 600 acres. We will provide an interesting drive thru tour with many stops along the way to hopefully get the close up shot of your favourite critter. Enjoy the wildlife stories and the sounds from the wild and woolly. Light tour chat provided as we enjoy a relaxing 40-45 minute drive from the south country side to the north scenic side of the Whitehorse area. Evening meal at the resort is included before your next Aurora viewing session.

Day 10 - Aurora Viewing
This morning you have your breakfast included and a day at leisure to relax, perhaps even book a spa treatment. For the more adventurous there are various activities such as snowshoeing available. There are various tours on offer to book at the resort. This evening enjoy your last meal at the resort before your final Aurora viewing session.
